A downloadable game

Your family wasn’t perfect, but you had a little pen, lots of food, and plenty of love from the young girl that always took care of you. Her parents had never been particularly kind, but you’d have never imagined they’d do anything that could sadden her. That was until today.

You find yourself abandoned deep in a forest without food or water, the last sight of your owners being their sudden departure. Despite the betrayal, your mind goes to the little girl and the comfort she’d brought you. Despite the daylight, you feel unsure about your predicament, you’ve never been away from home before.. It's scary

Your mind falls on the only place you know safety, home. You wish that you were back there, but it doesn’t bring you any closer. Instead you do the only thing you can, you start hopping along, trying to find your way back home. But beware, as darkness eventually sets around you, so does the nagging feeling that you aren’t alone. It could be nothing, but in the depths of your mind, fear of the other possibilities fester.

About us

We are a group of eight aspiring videogame developers working on this short little game for a project for one of our university courses.

The Team

Artists

Edvin, Elsa, Emmie, Linn, Teodor, Truls

Programmers

Veronica , Ray

Inspirations

The project was inspired by puppet shows and games like Paper Mario, Don't starve together a Neva. Which helped to shape the early vision of the concept.

Tools

The game was primarily made using Unity, and myriad other programs where they were neccesary or helpful. A non exhaustive list of them include, Procreate, Krita, IbisPaint, Davinci Resolve, Gimp, Audacity.

Future

This project could use more work to get it into a state we are fully content with, so if there is time, energy and passion it may be picked back up and finished at a later date. We are as well in the works of getting a Steam page so there exists a small chance of us uploading a revised version of the game, and if we get a Steam page up and running expect a direct link to it somewhere on this page.

AI

This project uses absolutely zero generative AI
